2.3.6 Compliance
Sources: Lake Bennett (Land Title) Act 2005 Schedule 5–6; Articles of Corporation — Units Plan 97/026; NT Building Control (Tier 1).
Dual Approval Framework
Most building or land-use change at Lake Bennett requires both:
- Planning / development consent under the Lake Bennett locality provisions (Schedule 5) and any Development Permit (e.g. DP04/0022 / Schedule 6 for Section 1252).
- Corporation approval of plans and specifications before improvements commence (Articles 5.1) — in addition to local/Territory authority requirements.
- Building certification — Lake Bennett is a Tier 1 Building Control Area (full NCC / occupancy certification). See 2.3.4 Development Controls.
Development Approvals
