Flow System

Inflow

Receives primary treated effluent from septic tanks at units 65–66 (via SSP4) and units 75–76 and 79–80 (via SSP5) through a 32 mm blueline polyethylene pipeline.

Discharge

Pumps effluent under the lake to SPS1 (SSP1) on the eastern side. The original DN32 HDPE Blueline main (incorrect colour) has been upgraded to a 32 mm lilac poly pipe encased in a 100 mm PVC pipe. Pressure test of the original main was successful. From SPS1, effluent is routed to WWTP Primary Tank 1 (PT-1).

Current Status

Condition

Tank appears in good condition.

Known Issues

  • Performance: Low flow rates from pumps noted with the original pipe, likely due to length/size of discharge pipework
  • Flow Variation: Fluctuating inflow noted
